Strangest Spanko Video Ever?

I stumbled across a truly bizzare music video I featured in a post many years ago. Words fail. You just have to watch. Enjoy!

I convinced my dear husband to have a conversation for the blog on the topic of spanking videos. This post is an edited transcript of that discussion.

We have watched spanking videos for decades – from the grainy VHS SLP rip-off tapes sold at high prices by roadside porn shops to today’s streaming 4K splendor. These videos, almost entirely M/F, provided inspiration, entertainment, and occasional laughs. Along the way, we’ve each developed some preferences and today, we would like to share them with you.

Bonnie: What makes a spanking video enjoyable to watch?

Randy:

1. First and foremost, I want to witness a real spanking. By that, I mean I want to see the woman get whacked hard and repeatedly on her bottom. I want her to react proportionately to the spanking being delivered. No academy award performances in response to a light hand spanking. Also, I don’t want her to lie motionless as though the spanker is flogging a side of beef.


2. I like to see the spankee’s bottom at some point during the proceedings. Is her skin turning red? Are there any visible marks? Does she have cute dimples like Bonnie’s? Does her bottom undulate with each new strike?


3. How does the spankee react to the pain? Does she squirm or kick? Does she try to cover? Does she submit at some stage? Or is she kind of into it?


4. I like the vocalizations that document exactly how much pain the spankee is feeling. Does she ask the spanker to please stop or does she just yell, “Ow!”


5. Here’s a weird thing I love to see in a video - When a woman drops her pants or raises her skirt to expose her bottom in preparation for a spanking and it’s already red and sore looking. I realize this happens because studios routinely shoot multiple scenes with a model in one day. But in my twisted brain, she’s a bad girl who is getting it again.


6. I like when the woman is beautiful, but that isn’t essential. It can be more interesting to watch an average woman get a spanking. When I see this, I think that unlike those lovely models, maybe this person is not being paid. If she is accepting a hard spanking because she loves it, that makes her hotter that any shapely twenty year old.

OK, what about you?

1. I know you particularly appreciate the physical whacking part, but my focus is usually inside the heads of the participants. I know those stories aren’t real, and sometimes they are downright preposterous, but they set the stage for me. Why is this woman being spanked so hard? How would I feel if it were me? I want to be able to place myself in the role of the one being punished and imagine what that would be like.


2. I like stories where loving couples share spankings. When they embrace and kiss afterward, that’s very appealing. When Shadow Lane began, their mission was to make people feel good about being into spanking. That message really resonated with me.


3. Spanking is my kink, but I have an extra special fondness for corporal punishment scenes. I crave these sorts of scenes, both in videos and in our personal lives. The more classic ritual, the better.


4. I want to see faces. How is the spankee reacting to what is happening to her? Is it agony, panic, fatigue, or resignation? Or maybe, best of all, she’s into it! Her expression tells me more about the effect of the spanking than anything occurring out back. And what of the spanker? Is he serious, determined, or pleased with his efforts?


5. I want to believe these people care about each other. I recognize they are probably hired hands doing a job, but I think part of that job is to convince me otherwise. Show me why I should believe.


6. Finally, I have had the pleasure to know several brilliant spanking models through the blog. It’s a joy to watch their work.

What do you dislike?

Randy:

1. Anything hokey. Contrived scripts. Outrageous overacting. High school cheerleaders with huge tats. Spankees who appear to be bored porn stars after a quick buck. Spankers who are merciless bastards. Sets that look like someone’s garage.


2. I don’t like to watch spankers who do it wrong and spankees who don’t seem to know the difference. They hit too high or out on the hips or ignore the lower slopes entirely. Or they strike in one spot again and again and don’t even it out.


3. Teaseware. Don’t show me thirty seconds of a spanking in hopes of luring me to a pay site. If I choose to subscribe, it will be based upon your body of work, not one truncated snippet.


4. Questionable consent. Some videos originate in developing countries. That’s fine. They have beautiful women too. But in some cases, I have to wonder about the working conditions for the models. Are they able to fully consent? Are they fairly compensated for their work?

And you?

Bonnie:

1. I dislike seeing spankings that are excessive. Those brutal Eastern European videos from the nineties kept me from even considering a cane for years. At the other end of the spectrum, a spanking video needs to include at least one good spanking.


2. As you mentioned, I want to see authentic reactions. Not screaming murder over a few light slaps nor being the proverbial slab of meat.


3. I agree about the need to see some indication of consent, especially if there are sexual elements. Without it, I don’t want to watch and I don't want to pay for it.


4. Degradation is a huge turn-off for me. It’s one thing to scold in the context of a discipline scenario. It’s quite another to tell a woman that all females are inferior and deserve to be abused. That’s a message that no one needs to hear.

Recap: MBS Sunday Brunch for Apr 11

Our topic this week was SpankingTube. Here are your reactions.

Naomi: I love SpankingTube! I go on there occasionally, maybe every two weeks or so, and just browse the new videos. I am more interested in the real couples making home videos. I can relate more and I just sit there and think how brave they are!

I would love to make a video and share it on SpankingTube. But I haven't grown big enough nads for it yet.

Poppy: I don't tend to go there at all.

I find spanking videos almost too much for me. I am so picky about my tastes that it would have to be just so. When I do see a spanking video, I get overwhelmed. The sounds, the words, and the sight of a bum make me have to hide my eyes and crawl under a sofa.

I think it is a great idea and I applaud those people who put things up there, but it is too much stimulus for me. I need someone else to be in charge when I see or experience anything connected to spanking.

I bet I will be the only person who is so easily floored by the whole thing.

Janet: I have never heard of SpankingTube, but I will be sure to check it out! Thanks for the heads up.

Hermione: I have visited once or twice, but I tend to feel it is overwhelming. There is so much there, I don't know where to start.

Like Poppy, I am picky about quality, and I would want to watch something that appeals to me personally, not just any spanking. If I knew specifically where to look for something that I could relate to, I might watch it.

I'm sure that for those who feel comfortable filming their spankings, it's a great place to put them on display. I feel slightly embarrassed watching people do something that I consider an intimate act in front of a camera.

So Poppy, you aren't the only one. It really isn't for me either.

Sunflower: I've also never been to SpankingTube. I'm with Poppy and Hermione in how picky I am about the things I want to watch. I've honestly never checked it out because 1) I prefer to read my erotica rather then watch it, and 2) there is a plethora of well written spanking stories on the various blogs I already visit so I've never felt an urge to look. Maybe someday I will.

I'm also still somewhat shy about exploring the internet for TTWD, so I've never gotten the gumption to watch a video, even if I had the desire!

Jean Marie: Like Naomi, I love SpankingTube. When I have time, I surf it for great lengths of time. Soon I find that I have to disrobe and touch myself as I watch and fantasize and self-spank.

Mark: I'm probably in the minority on this blog since I am spanked by my wife. But SpankingTube doesn't have much F/m stuff. I like watching cute girls get spankings too though. The videos tend to leave out the best part (to me at least) which is the scolding and 'aftercare'.

Daisy: I often go to SpankingTube. I have seen virtually every video on it for the past year or two! However, I tend to watch only the first few seconds of each. They are "much of a muchness" and, as others have said, I am particular about what I want to see!

I like the ones where the girl objects, but is spanked anyway, by a loving partner, not the "actor" ones. I can't bear the ones where the spankee is passive and just lies there, no squirming, squealing, footlifting or hands flying back.

I also like to hear a lecture about why it is taking place. There is one actor who always lectures with one word to each spank, it gets so irritating. If he is in a video, I switch it off as soon as I see it is him!
There are some great amateur home videos though. They are really the best ones. The only exception is a fantastic video by Amber Pixie Wells where she is waiting for a spanking. The acting throughout is awesome. It's my all time favorite.

I would never appear in a video, much less post it for others. I'm not brave enough for that, and much too paranoid!

Dr. Ken: I don't go to SpankingTube. I have nothing against it. I just have a really ancient computer and it would probably take hours to load the smallest of clips!

I don't just "buy a new computer" because I really can't afford it right now, and the old one still does all the things I really need. If my computer were new, I'd probably spend a little time checking it out, but I doubt I would spend very much time there. I'm with Poppy and Hermione on this one.

Loki: I love SpankingTube! I have never seen such a variety of spankings all in one place.

Now as for favorites, while I will always love spanking video company productions, I am very partial to videos made by we average non-actors. Real is always the best! And I do plan to add me and my wife to the mix!

Scunge: My Sir and I also LOVE SpankingTube. We don't watch,well at least I don't watch, the hardcore torture videos. Lately, there do seem to be more males getting spanked as well. I used to go there quite a bit, but now it is maybe about once a month or so.

Anon #1: There is very little on SpankingTube that I don't like. Most everything posted I consume avidly.

I'm there daily for relatively short lengths of time, and will watch most anything. I can't tolerate viewing some of the amateur "actors" due to a possibly unfair bias I've developed toward certain tops who seem like such lowlifes! I know that's elitist, but it's how I feel and I'm sure I'm not alone in that assessment. Anyway, I hope SpankingTube is around for a very long time. It has really saved the day for me, especially as I recall all the time, effort and money I wasted doing what I had to do before the internet.

Also, I am SO glad some are finding SpankingTube for the first time thanks to MBS!

Another point: I recognize that commercial sites are the backbone of SpankingTube as an enterprise, and most likely one operator in particular.

For me, I can't imagine NEEDING more than this vast array of delightful vignettes, as opposed to
actually buying the longform versions. Again, that's just me. Obviously, enough paying customers launch off of SpankingTube and support producers with their (repeat) business, or it wouldn't exist.

As an aside to Dr. Ken, there has to be a way to beef up even your dinosaur of a computer. You're missing too much not having the capability to watch ST!

Anon #2: I LOVE Spanking Tube! I visit a couple of times a week. My favorites are M/F, but I like F/F as well. I especially like paddlings and hairbrush spankings.

Anon #3: Many of the videos on SpankingTube are too harsh for me to watch. I agree that "real" M/f are best. I like to see the woman's face and hear her protests.

Betina: I like SpankingTube, but I do not watch everything on it. I just click the videos I think I will like based upon the mouseover text and the picture. I think it's wonderful that some are brave enough to post there, but I never would.

Ronnie: I'm sorry,but I can't really be of any help. I have only visited the site once. I didn't know where to start and haven't been back.

R Humphries: SpankoTube is not really to our particular tastes. Nonetheless, any service that expands access to new material within the community should be encouraged and applauded.

Anon #4: It's good for a visit now and then, but too many videos don't have emotion behind them. They're all mechanical. There are not enough videos where affection and release are strongly carried forth, IMHO.

So, yeah, I guess I'm "picky" too.

Prefectdt: I go to SpankingTube when I can and enjoy it, but it is difficult to find enough computer time to go there as often as I would like.

I submitted a clip to SpankingTube once, but it was not accepted. I did not mind so much that they did not put it up, perhaps it was just something that was not their sort of thing, but I was rather annoyed that they never gave a reason.

For some reason, I have difficulty embedding clips from SpankingTube on my blog. Any tips or tricks would be very welcome.

Bonnie: Video is not my favorite medium. Unlike prose or even still photographs, it typically leaves nothing to the imagination. With that said, I enjoy watching many SpankingTube videos.

The videos that appeal to me are first and foremost those crafted by genuine spanking enthusiasts. They understand and convey how real people spank and are spanked. The banter is not just believable, it's authentic. These sequences are never 23 seconds in length. Nor are they offered solely as teasers for longer clips at a pay service. I have no gripe with professional producers, and I might well like their complete films, but those two or three whack snippets on SpankingTube are a waste of my time.

It's extremely unlikely that Randy and I would ever post video on a public site. That's just not us.

S.N.M.: There's not that much to say, really. The guy seems like a celebrity hanger-on trying to capitalize on his "conquest." I pity Jennifer, but also wonder how she ended up marrying the jerk in the first place. Anyway, it doesn't seem like she's at the risk of losing this legal battle, so not a big deal either way.

Diesel Diva: Monolithically gorgeous! OMG, that's funny. I have to totally agree with you, Bonnie. My thought patterns followed about the same route. Like so many other things that happen in our society today, JLo's video is absolutely none of our business. The fact that it exists should be between the two of them only. If that slimeball decides to make it public knowledge, he should suffer the legal consequences. Things like this wouldn't be news if the general public didn't pay attention. I personally don't care about Tiger's antics, Jon & Kate or Octomom. It's a media attempt to distract us from the systematic rape of our rights by Washington's elected elite.

Hermione: I hadn't heard about this until today, but it was a stroke of luck to find a link to the item with an actual reference to spanking. So often in this type of story, the details of the actual content of the video would have been omitted. So that was my first thought. But besides that, yeah, what a sleazoid he was, to do something like that. And I agree with Sara, spanking is probably more common than we think.

R Humphries: Shame on you Bonnie, for missing the latest breaking story on TMZ, ‘Tiger Spanks JLo in Secret Vegas Tryst.’ No, just joking!

Personally, I feel sorry for Ms. Lopez. Most of us humans engage in all sorts of experimentation during the discovery of our erotic id. The gutter-press tries to make this sound like ‘her sordid past’ when it is nothing of the sort. She was just doing what many married couples do in making a home video. Clearly the sleazebag of the piece is the former-husband. I’m sure that the courts will find in her favor, but as usual, she has been subjected to unfair public scrutiny and the only people who benefit are incorrigible media barons. Hopefully, her current husband will see the funny side and simply do the right thing and put her over his knee...

Todd: I'm not surprised that J-Lo is a spanko. Not at all. I have been working on a post about her getting her butt insured for a while. Why would you do that unless it's getting spanked? LOL

Annabelle: Personally, I care nothing about celebrities, positive or negative.

About a year and a half ago, I overheard my uncle threatening my aunt with a spanking and I was instantly amused. Then they moved to a new house and remodeled the kitchen. Jean Marie: My thoughts traversed the same trajectory as previously discussed, but I know for a fact that JLo got a judge to immediately issue a restraining order, so we won't see the taped spanking. Dr. Ken: It seems like almost every week now we hear about some "celebrity" involved in a sex tape scandal. The only thing that comes to my mind is: Please – everybody, celebrity or average citizen – STOP TAPING YOURSELVES!

Our Bottoms Burn: Sure, he is a sleazeball. What we don't understand is Bonnie's third thought about feeling guilty. When you summarize comments please explain that for us dense ones that have not yet had coffee.

Bogey and Becall, Jennifer Lopez was a person long before she was a celebrity. As such, I think she doesn't deserve to have the most intimate details of her personal life spread all over the tabloids. I love a good spanking and I actively promote the practice among those of us who share this interest. Even so, I would be very upset if some inconsiderate person outed us to our family, co-workers, and vanilla friends. I feel guilty because this is information that we should not know.

Spank-A-Lot: Personally, I guess a majority of us would agree that J. Lo's ex is pretty much an a-hole for trying to peddle the video. However, unlike Bonnie, I do not feel guilty for almost jumping in the air and cheering that J. Lo is a spanko! With an ass like hers, it probably would be a sin to not be a spanko.

While there is talk about superstars being entitled to privacy, the reality of life is that rumours and scandals really fuel their careers. It's like being a garbage cleaner and moaning about the stench of rubbish or maybe a teacher who hates kids. It doesn't take rocket science to know that being a celeb means a loss of privacy. Each celebrity has the choice to quit being a celebrity and enjoy their privacy, or continue being one and not moan about the loss of privacy.

While Ojani's actions are downright despicable, I feel no guilt about being happy to know that J. Lo is a spanko! :)

Jack: The is nothing better than seeing a big-butted woman spanked!

Bumtickler: Her ex-husband is a non-person and should realize that and crawl into a hole along with all the others who do stuff to appear in the tabloids.

A one-time alleged spanking video does not make her a spanko (why didn't she destroy it or lock it up?). She has the equipment for it and that leaves a lot of us drooling and hoping. Maybe what we need is for someone well-known to "come out" and that will bring us into the mainstream.

There probably are a lot of us around. I wish I had some way of identifying them. I ordered some buttons from Birchwood to let others know about me. I haven't gotten them yet (hint, hint).

Missy: Wow, we're nearly unanimous on this one. Usually I'm not interested in celebrity sex tapes, but I must admit that the sheer poetic serendipity of Jenny's bounteous bahookie getting a spanking is pretty irresistible.

PK: I am very proud that J-Lo is a spanko. I don't even need to mention the creep to whom she was married, but J-Lo has done nothing to be ashamed of. Being a spanko is a healthy, happy way to live if you find the right person. I think we all know that. But EVERYONE deserve their privacy.

I have thought at times how hard it must be if you were famous and also a spanko who, like most of us, want to keep this desire somewhat private. Imagine if Michelle Obama, Oprah or Julia Roberts wanted to read or write a blog of this nature. What if they wanted to order some toys? In a way with all their fame and pull, they would have less freedom than any of us.

I think it will be great when our kink becomes more mainstream and we won't have to feel as though we have to hide.

Em: I'm probably one of the least informed people in this country when it comes to items of this nature because I try to avoid them as best as possible. I don't believe that celebrities owe us anything other than their best work in whichever field they have made their fame. Their private life is theirs and I wish it would remain so.

I wouldn't watch the video if it were released (although I can't say I wouldn't be tempted in this case) and I try not to click on "news stories" like these. I think it's for the same reason I refuse to watch reality TV. Now, if the article were written in a POSITIVE manner, that would be something I'd sit down with over a nice cup of tea. :)

Recap: MBS Sunday Brunch for Feb 22

Our topic of the week was the video recording of spanking sessions. As I had hoped, this subject generated a wonderful variety of responses.

Dragon Mage: Luvbunny and I have video recorded a few of our spanking sessions. At first, it was strange (I really don't like to see myself on the video, and luvbunny didn't either), but watching the video together can be very erotic.

We have shared a couple of the videos with some close friends, but we are rather careful who else gets to see them.

Daisychain: No, I have never been video recorded during a spanking. However, this is something we have talked of doing. We have agreed that IF we do, it will be for our eyes only... STRICTLY for our eyes only. We have both thought it could be quite sexy to watch it over again, but we would both feel very uncomfortable for anyone else to see it.

Irelynn: Being a spanking model, my views on this don't actually count! I didn't film any spankings before I started modeling though. I think I was mainly worried about privacy, since I didn't have a regular play partner that I could trust not to go public with the film.

I always wanted to be a "big screen" actress though. If only I were a bit more gifted in that department, I could have been the next Kate Winslet. ;-)

Of course your views count! Half the fun of brunch is hearing all of the different perspectives. As for talent, it’s all relative. Oscar or no Oscar, I’ll bet Kate Winslet can’t take a decent spanking.

Lil Sam: I have often thought that being video recorded while being spanked would be exciting and a real turn on. I have often fantasized about my very first adult spanking (if that ever happens) being video recorded. It would, of course, be just for my beloved partner (when I find one) and me to see. I really don't think I would want anyone else to see it.

Soma: I have had a video taped spanking that was actually part of my punishment. My spanker said he was going to record part of my next spanking and then would have me watch it as part of my punishment. Though I was a little uncomfortable about being recorded and even more so being made to watch it later, I trusted him and was fine with him doing that. Jean Marie: My lover suggested that we film a spanking session about half a year ago. I was game for it, but wanted the "actress" experience, so I dressed-up as a cheerleader. He set up a tripod, and we role played. It was even more fun knowing that it was being taped, but when we watched it afterward, the tape was so static, being stationary, that it didn't capture the thrill I felt inside. Jay: I have never been filmed during a spanking, but it would be cool. I'm not really a shy person, so I would have no problem with being filmed or even do a proper spanking film.

If I can put pictures of my battered butt on my blog, it’s only one more step to moving pictures, right?

This Girl: I did some spanking modeling stuff a few years ago. Prior to doing it, I thought that it all might feel a bit clinical, like it was more for the audience than the people taking part, or that I might have to fake things to make it look good.

But it turned out to be not like that. It was just a lot of fun with the added bonus of showing off a bit! I suppose it depends on the circumstances. I think if it’s filmed by someone who wants to portray a realistic and fun spanking, then it’s going to be good fun and brilliant all round. But I guess there are also people out there doing it only for commercial reasons. I guess if it was for that reason only, I wouldn’t enjoy it so much. Like any form of BDSM, it has to be fun. There’s no point otherwise.

I suppose there are concerns when doing stuff that you know other people are going to see. I feel this same way about pictures on my blog. I wonder whether people might think negative things about my body when there are far hotter people out there or they might think I'm kidding myself that I should be doing it. But, mostly, I've only played with people who make me feel good about myself. I wouldn't let anyone capture anything on photo or film if the people involved were making me feel worthless or ugly.

Penfold: Like Soma, Bear has also recorded one of our DD spankings. I found it really embarrassing to have the camera on my peach and the rest of me. For that fact, it made for a rather interesting DD session. But unlike Soma, I have yet to watch it (although Bear tells me that it is a very good watch). I hate watching myself, and haven’t had the courage to watch this yet. But Bear told me that if I don’t watch it soon, there might be trouble... EEEEPPPP!

Anon: I have often fantasized about what it would be like to have a spanking recorded on video. I would be curious to just to see what I look like in that situation. But in the end, I think I'm just too shy, and I have no doubt that my husband would never agree on that. He agreed to spank me ever so often, but taping it is just taking it a step too far for him. Tiggs: I've only had one video recorded of me being spanked... It was by Dante, of course, and it was a punishment spanking. The video was meant to be part of the punishment. It definitely added to the angst of the spanking. There were lots more nerves on my end.

But afterwards, it was interesting that I wanted to replay it and Dante didn't even want to look at it. He got rid of it after replaying it the one time for me. But I really, really liked it, in a way that kind of scared me at the time.

Now, though, I don't feel nearly as pretty or attractive as I once did (not that I ever saw myself as gorgeous or anything even close before). There's no interest at all on my end these days to video tape it. It's for me and Dante's pleasure alone!

Ms. Betty: I did that once, for the express purpose of showing it to the members of my Yahoo groups.

I don't think I'd do it again, though. Correction, I would not do it the way we did it.

I didn't mind being on film or having others see it, but since it was just the two of us we ended up managing the camera ourselves and I found that distracting. When I spank, I like to have all of my attention focused on the task at hand, rather than divided between "am I swatting hard enough" and "is the camera staying on?"

I didn't much care for the headaches of preparing the video for web use, either. Technology is not Ms. Betty's strong suit. It came out grainy and a bit warped looking.

So I can't say I wouldn't do it again, but I can say I'd only do it if someone else (not the bottom) were handling the technical aspects.

Our Bottoms Burn: We were early adopters of the VCR camera, so we have some "ancient" recordings from that era. We also have a few modern digital recordings. Sometimes, we like to see how we were.

Obviously, I've made a number of videos in which I've been spanked or flogged or what-have-you. I've also done any number of them where I was the spanker! I know -- strange to consider, huh? But I think that being a spanking bottom most of the time, I can dish out a very satisfactory spanking when the need calls for it! ;)

They were all very good experiences, except for one video I did where the producer/director did not respect me at all. I had to really fight for my rights as a model and "bottom." (This is actually one of the videos that is out there on the internet. I won't say which, but I will note that the producer was *female*, which will probably come as a surprise to most people!)

Most recently, I did a spanking video in Australia (how cool is that?!) and that was pretty much the most fun you can have without actually exploding from pleasure!

I'm really looking forward to doing some more spanking videos, both for my own blog, and for spanking sites. But I have a long career of making adult content (photo and video) behind me, and I really am trying to focus more on *being a photographer* nowadays!

Bonnie: I believe I’ve told this story before, so I will endeavor to be brief (just this once).

Some years ago, Randy decided that he wanted to video tape (yes, it was a LONG time ago) one of our spanking sessions. I was reluctant, but in his charming way, he convinced me to try it. He set up a borrowed camera on a tripod, pulled me over his lap, and proceeded to deliver a well executed bottom whacking. Once we got into it, I almost forgot about the camera.

Later that evening, he asked if I wanted to watch myself. Those words sent a shiver through me. As so often happens in the world of spanking, anticipation, worry, eagerness, and dread get all mixed up together. We played the tape on our television in the den after our daughter was safely asleep.

I was immediately aghast! I thought we would be watching a spanking. What I saw instead looked like gyno-cam! That thing was pointed right into my privates with gigantic jiggling butt cheeks situated on either side. It looked like cheap porn. All it needed was some corny dialogue and a watery sound track. To me, the spanking seemed almost secondary. Having Randy tell me how beautiful I looked didn’t help at all.

Randy assures me that tape no longer exists, but I wouldn’t be at all surprised to learn the video survived in some electronic format. In any case, I think our film careers are over.

I think it's fun to have a recording of the spanking so I can watch it and remember what it was like. :)

Here's a music video from the early days of MTV. It features a song by John Mellencamp (although back then he went by the name John Cougar). If you're not familiar with this artist, my husband once described him as who Bruce Springsteen might have been had he been raised in rural Indiana.

More to the point, look for a brief three swat spanking beginning around 2:12. It's not particularly effective, but one is left with the impression that Diane is neither unfamiliar nor totally opposed to this sort of play. Also, the clapping throughout brings to a spanko's mind another sort of impact.


Lest there be any doubt about John Mellencamp's proclivities, he had a second song around the same time entitled "Hurts So Good." The corresponding video had a biker theme and featured young women with black leotards, stockings, and riding crops. But it was the fun little spanking in Jack and Diane that always captured my imagination.
