Song Parody: Like a Brat Over Piled Pillows

For today's entertainment, we will corrupt a genuine pop classic. Most of us quadragenarians recall a Simon and Garfunkel song named Bridge Over Troubled Water. It was a wonderful song, both musically and in terms of its supportive message. It still is.

However, the reverence we feel for the tune and the artists who created it is not sufficient to prevent the MBS Swing Ensemble from taking a whack at a special spanko rendition.

Ready? OK, everybody sing...

Like a Brat Over Piled Pillows

When I'm weary, feeling small
When tears are in my eyes
I will cry them all
You'll tan my hide
When times get rough
And lotion can't be found
Like a brat over piled pillows
I will lay me down
Like a brat over piled pillows
I will lay me down

When I'm on all fours
When I'm on the bed
When paddles fall so hard
You will punish me
I'll take your swats
When spankings come
And pain is all around
Like a brat over piled pillows
I will lay me down
Like a brat over piled pillows
I will lay me down

Wail on lover man
Wail on me
My time has come to glow
All my dreams are O-T-K
See how they show
O'er your lap I'll bend
I'm smarting right behind
Like a brat over piled pillows
You will roast my hide
Like a brat over piled pillows
You will roast my hide

You have just penned the Spanko Anthem! I heard Simon and Garfunkle in my head singing the whole time. Very funny, Thanks for the laugh.
(if only I could get hubby to reenact the song.....alas..

as I read that I could hear the tune in my head--I will never be able to listen to that song the same way again :)

I heard the tune as soon as I read the title. I knew EXACTLY where you were going. It's perfect!! Now what nosy bloggers such as myself want to know is how many times you've sung this to/with Randy??

Awesome!! I like the spanko anthem idea!

Bonnie,
That is great! That song was always an old fave, but it did need a face lift or in this case a bum lift. Great fun, thanks for taking the time!

Bonnie you're an angel. This was a favourite of ours, I'll bet Mel is grinning from ear to ear. You've rejuvenated it for me.
Warm hugs and thanks,
Paul.

C - Thanks! We needed anthem.

Cathy - That's always a danger with song parodies. LOL

Eva - None, so far. But that's an interesting idea.

Elis - Thank you so much.

Kate - Thanks!

S - It's funny you should mention limericks because I posted these one year ago today. I later added some more.

Bella - They ALWAYS bring their swing

Bbobb - I like that! It took me a moment to get it. Thanks.

Shy - You're very welcome.

Jujubees - It's one of my favorites too. I figured it would be fun to spruce it up a bit.

Paul - That's wonderful! I'm delighted to share this musical alteration.

Grace - It's funny, BOTW came up the other day on my iPod and the spanko words just sort of came to me as the song was playing. What's interesting is that I didn't have to change that much. A lot of the lyrics work as is. Thank you, Paul Simon.

Maggie - Million Spanko March? Interesting concept. OK, this time, somebody else is going to have to send out the e-mails!

Here's some more limericks:-
A curvy young girl was Bianca,
Just everyone wanted to spank her
To get over this hurdle,
She padded her girdle,
And then they could spank her and thank her !

To my naughty young wife one night,
I said,"Bend over my knee nice and tight.
And then I will bare
Your delectable rear
And spank it wioth all of my might ".

A lusty young man from East Twixted
To spanking was very addicted.
Ten damsels each day
For their sins had to pay,
Bent over as smacks were inflicted.

A big bottomed lady from Maine,
Was given six whacks with a cane,
AS the cane strtiped her bum,
She said,"This is really quite fun".
As she wriggled and squealed at the pain.

A professional lady from Mere,
Had a most succulent rear
For a quite modest sum,
You could paddle her bum,
Or give her the strap on the bare.

Well Bonnie, I've done it again.

You've come up with another great idea and I can't resist ah... borrowing it for myself.

This time, though I want to encourage everybody to ah... borrow this idea. There aren't enough spanking songs out there, so it's up to us to right this wrong and create more spanking songs. They can be recycled existing songs or original compositions.

It just doesn't matter as long as we eliminate the tragic shortage of spanking songs.

Susan - Wow! Did you write all of those Limericks recently or have you been collecting them?

Either way, well done!

Bbobb - I love music and I think song parodies are great fun.

Last December, I created so many Christmas song parodies that some readers were begging me to stop. So now I post one every few months.

However, Christmas is coming again and I never did find that perfect song parody for Jingle Bells.

Kaya - Thank you! I love your blog too.

Mike - Oh, I'll be singing all right... :D
