Hey Bonnie, those are fantastic numbers! Congrats on another successful LOL Day! I know I had a ball saying hi to some old friends and found some new.

Many thanks to you and all those who helped in organising this event.

Fantastic numbers Bonnie! I tried to get around to every single blog like I did last year... but I didn't quite get to every one. There were just sooooo many!
It was a really enjoyable time and I can't wait until next year.
Hopefully, since it's becoming so popular, next year can be set across a few days.
Thanks again Bonnie!

131 blogs? No wonder I was so tired on LOL Day! This was the first year I managed (I think) to visit every one. As you said, certainly Mardi Gras meets marathon.

I have been so happy to meet new friends and reconnect with old ones. Thank you for the event, Bonnie!

Fantastic participation in LOL Day, Bonnie. I tried to make it to all blogs but fell short. It was a fun day making new friends and staying in contact with old ones.
I want to thank you for all your hard work as this event pulls our community together in a special and warm way. You are the mother of our brood but in this case momma is the one who gets spanked. :-)

Wow. To say I'm impressed is an understatement! I love the bar graph by the way :) Although I posted, I was unable to be at a computer for the entire day so I didn't really get to participate :( Thank you for doing it!

Awesome!!!!
Thanks for putting it all together and organizing all these results. It's amazing!

Thanks, everybody! I appreciate your continuing support.

The statistic I'd love to report is the number of friendships forged and renewed. That's the real purpose of LOL Day.

How do I keep track? I have a spreadsheet.

Can we stretch LOL Day over several days next year? The current process is incredibly exhausting. I can't imagine expanding the time frame any further. Sorry.

Did I go to each blog and check the comment count? Yes.

I'm glad everyone had fun and met lots of nice people.

I am particularly grateful to our ambassadors who made it around to visit many of our participants and wish them well. As a result, everyone had comments to savor.

So that wraps up LOL Day 8. It's been an event to remember!

Thanks as ever for all your hard work on this, Bonnie (and to everyone who participated and left comments on blogs) - another super-successful LOL Day!

I've found in past years that LOL posts are surprisingly slow-burners - they attract a flurry of contributors on the day, of course, but visitors still post to them months after the event itself. Which is always a wonderful bonus!

I only had time to make it to a fraction of the participating blogs, and I'd started by working my way down from the top of your list - I expect a lot of people will have done the same. Next year I must remember to start somewhere in the middle or pick and choose at random, to help spread the love! :)

You are amazing to do all this work for the community! It was my third LOL day and while it was a lot of fun, it was tiring and I was glad to see the day end. I had several people de-lurk for the first time, which is awesome! :D
