I invest a lot of time in creating and maintaining links to other blogs. Many readers tell me that the blogroll is their favorite part of the blog (I take that as an indication that I need to write more articles). I am sometimes asked why there are not more F/M and/or M/M blogs listed. I haven't deliberately excluded these folks, but they are not well represented.
My question is whether you desire a more inclusive blogroll.

I'd love to read more Randy/Bonnie spanking stories. They are some of the best I've ever come across!
Hi Bonnie:
I like Anonymous's comment and would love more of your stories. However I just wanted to comment on your poll. Although my personal preference is MF spankings, I just like to read blogs about Spankings in general. I have found many wonderful blogs (and made some great friends)through your blog, and look forward to finding more.
Thanking you for all the work you do.
Andrades Girl
I usually find that if I like the writing on a blog, and it draws me back time and time again, that I then go to see whats on the blogroll....to see what the writer also likes to read.
So I guess that also answers what should be on it!
love and hugs xxx
Bonnie I don't want to do the poll because I think you should do what you want. Hugs, Jay
Hello Bonnie,
Good one from Anonymous - we would all agree.
Also I think Jay has a good very point and I think I would have to agree.
MF for me but would not stop me visiting say a FM or FF.

i voted. maybe when adding the blogs you could put the mf;ff;fm;and mm beside the blog's name. i love the randy and bonnie stories. take care.
Hi Bonnie,
I think that all 4 combinations should be represented, as long as spanking is the main theme of each blog, or at least a good part of it.
Hugs,
Hermione
My FIRST preference is M/f. I didn't vote, however, because I agree with Jay -- it's your blog and you should do what YOU want.
I like a well-written and entertaining blog, so it's not so much the orientation of the writer that matters.
Bonnie, I agree with my brat*, I like the way that you do it.
For me no need to change it.
*Brat = Jay.
Warm hugs,
Paul.
Of course you should list those blogs that YOU find most interesting, but being rather the queen of spanko blogs for several years now, I also think there is a bit of a higher obligation for you.
That being said, maybe you could have a separate blogroll for the M/M, F/M and F/F sites... it seems they should be listed for the same reasons and consideration as the other blogs, but if you don't go there often, then maybe list them separately...
But I do agree with the others that it is ultimately YOUR choice!

Hey Bonnie,
Everyone is right. I love your stories, they were the first I found and I was hooked. My fantasies are all M/f and I really didn't think I would like anything else. But I was surprised to find that other combinations are good too. So since many come to you for reading suggestions I think you should include any site you are comfortable with.
Hugs,
PK
Bonnie I started coming here for your writing and that is what I enjoy the most! However, I also think your blogroll is premium (I WISH it still could show what blogs have been updated!) I pretty much only read M/F but don't mind other orientations in the blogroll. I think that is really up to you. Thanks for all you do!
I agree with the commenters who suggested identifying the blogs as m/f, f/f or whatever. However, on second thought, that could be a slippery slope, because there are also other categories, like DD and TPE.
If the blogs were to be separated into lists according to category, that would present a bit of a challenge and would also not look as "clean". I would prefer to see one single list, if only for the reason that there are so many blogs in your roll. Do you plan to max out at 300? :-D
Hugs,
Hermione
The blog roll here is the most comprehensive and useful blog rolls around. It must take a lot of work to maintain but it is an exemplary resource. If something is not broken why fix it? I think you are already doing a very good job with your blog roll and should carry on as you see fit.

Everyone - I should probably provide a bit more background. A reader asked me why I don't have more F/M and M/M spanking blogs listed on the blogroll.
In fact, I do list several F/M blogs, including a few that are very popular. I have no M/M blogs listed at present, but that's only because I have yet to find any that meet my general criteria (tastefulness, meaningful content, no children, consensual, not spam, etc.).
The purpose of the question was not to abdicate my responsibility, but to gain a better feel for where readers stand on the issue.
Anon - Thank you. I'll see what we can do.
Andrades Girl - You're welcome. My primary interest is M/F as well, but that doesn't prevent me from appreciating alternative arrangements. Similarly, even though we don't practice DD, I can certainly learn from friends who do.
My goal for the blogroll is to present a variety of perspectives organized around the subject of adult spanking.
M:e - I can't claim that I read every post on all of these blogs. But I think all of them offer a point of view that is valuable.
Jay - That's certainly a valid answer. Thank you.
Ronnie - Thanks!
Jam - I've thought a lot about that possibility. Ultimately, I decided that it would be difficult to accurately categorize some blogs. Also, I believe that labeling blogs tends to detract from the unique character of each.
Thanks for your suggestion.
Hermione - Thank you for your input.
Sandy - I agree that quality writing trumps orientation. I decide which links are included, but I wanted to obtain some feeling for what readers prefer.
Paul - Thank you!
Tiggs - I don't claim to be the queen of anything, but I do know that many people rely on my blogroll for their spanko reading. I think there is a certain obligation there.
I've also considered multiple blogrolls. I don't think I want to do that for the same reasons I described in my response to Jam. Every blog has its own special charm. Dropping a label on them diminishes their value. I would hate to see readers reject a blog without even looking at it because of some rough characterization of mine.
PK - Other combinations are good, or at least they can be. That, I believe, is the most important lesson in this entire discussion.
Sara - You're very welcome. Readers make this effort worthwhile.
Hermione - That's precisely where I end up as I think through these questions.
As for 300, no, I have no set limit.
Prefectdt - Thank you!
My fantasy is about F/M spankings. My wife won't spank me, so I read the blogs intead. Your blog is great. Keep up the good work.
