The best part has got to be the name of the blog..."The Square America Archive"? In the 1950's it was apple pie and birthday spankings! It's all in the perception, I guess.

He he...my birthday spankings as a kid looked a lot that. Except they were in color.
Hermione - Let's do a little math here. I may be a grandmother today, but I was definitely not a teenager in the 1950s.
Sara - The name tickled me too. It was a black and white world.
Paul - On the contrary, I'm definitely enjoying it. As for the young woman in the picture, it's hard to tell from this angle.
Susan - If she's anything like me, I seriously doubt this was Bonnie's first or last spanking.
