I learned yesterday that our friend, blogging colleague, and dedicated spanko, Devlin O'Neill, has moved to the next plane of existence. Audrey's post is here. My sympathy goes out to all who loved him.
Dev was the blogger I wished I could be. He seemed to produce a steady stream of quality content. Comments on his posts often became miniature discussion forums. And Dev's calm, sensible nature influenced many of us for the better.
May the road ahead be smooth, straight, and clear, dear friend.

I will miss his blogging, he had a certain style. I hope he is at peace now.

This is very sad news. Years ago when I used to blog, I did a review on his book ( a personal take ) Spank Her! A Top's View of This Thing We Do. He was kind enough to leave a comment through another blogger. It is really a great book with many usable quotes for those trying to figure out who they are or explain their needs. Such a huge loss for the community.

We fell out of touch over the years, but he and I had a fun adventure shooting for Shadow Lane back in, what, 2005? Years later, I posed for one of his book covers. He was a good guy, very kind, very funny. It is indeed a big loss for all of us. RIP, Dev.
Very sad news Bonnie. My thoughts go out to his family.

Devlin was a star. I loved that he called me Harmonica, and generously gave me some of his books. I remember the thrill of finding some of his "A Maid for all Seasons" books in a local bookshop. Rest in peace, dear friend.
Hugs,
