USA Election 2012

For everyone here in the US, Tuesday is election day. Please let your voice be heard. The job of helping to select a president is too important to leave to others. We need you to vote your mind, your conscience, and your values. Let's prove together that democracy can still work!

Hi Bonnie,

The polls indicate that the race is extremely close. Too close for comfort in my opinion. We Canadians will all be watching and waiting, and keeping our fingers crossed that the right man wins. The alternative is just to scary to contemplate.

Hermione

Bonnie, you are 100% percent right, about voting on Election Day. And may all 'spanko's have a spanking good time doing so.

I think it is so important I have been taking my kids with me to vote in the Presidential elections since they were small. It has become a tradition. When I was a kid I didn't know my parents voted.

I am very happy to see so many of our young people getting involved and exercising their right to vote. My son voted for the first time, and I am very proud that he watched the debates, did some research of his own and voted his conscience, He got involved and that is what is important. Democracy at work.

My daughter voted on het first Presidential election via mail since she attends college out of state.
I stayed up watching all night into the overnight. I went to bed after both candidates spoke top their supporters.
I love Presidential Election night in America.

Bonnie,

I always appreciate you. But I felt strongly enough to let you know by commenting that I love that you posted this. Sadly and as always I'm so late to respond to your timely posts

I could and do write many (drafts) posts on the beauty of acquiescing to reality. I feel that politics is as personal as sex (if not more so). I'll have to be disciplined enough to write a bipartisan post expressing my thought on the subject (wish me luck).
