Catching Up

Wow. How can I get so far behind so quickly?

My mission was quite successful. Our daughter now has appropriate baby clothes, furnishings, equipment, and supplies. She also has a couple of nice maternity outfits to get her through the next few weeks. Those who guessed the baby is going to be a girl were correct, though I just found out this week. Everyone is in good spirits and (reasonably) ready for all that comes next.

Thanks again for your well wishes and encouragement. Those thoughts truly mean a lot to me.

I would also like to offer my gratitude to all of you wonderful MBS readers. Last week, I recorded my 200,000th hit. Needless to say, I'm delighted that you like what I post. You inspire me every day. Watch for Valentine's Day spanking accounts coming your way soon!

For those who sent me e-mail, I'm working my way through it. If I don't get back to you right away, please be assured that I will.

In the meantime, please be sure to check out the Spanko Sunday Brunch. I particularly like this week's question. I hope you will too.

It's nice to see you're back. Congradulations on your upcoming blessing from God. A grandaughter! That's wonderful. I'm both excited for you and envious. Although my kids are not quite ready to start family's of their own yet, I can hardly wait to be grandmother.

Please be sure and keep us posted and wish your daughter well, our prayers are with her.

Linda - Thank you! We're all very excited about the upcoming arrival of our next generation. Our daughter is understandably a bit overwhelmed, but she's strong and smart. I know she'll be all right.

I am delighted by the way our relationship has evolved. We no longer talk as simply mother and daughter. We now relate as women and as mothers. She recognizes that I've been many of the places she is about to go. Can you tell I'm thrilled?

Oh, well. It's back to spanko blogging for me. I'm preparing to write up the delicious reunion/Valentine's spanking Randy gave me last night!

It's so neat when kids realize their parents are good for more than just food and bed suppliers. The adult conversation between parent and child is nice. I wish your daughter a safe, uneventful finish. If she's half as good as her mom, I she'll be great. :)

Yeah, I can't wait until my daughter and I get to experiece that part of our relationship. My mother and I became best friends during my first pregnancy and 22 years later, we are still best friends. It's truly amzing how much smarter you realize your mother is the older YOU become. LOL

When that beautiful bundle of joy joins this world, I expect pictures and lots of them Grandma!!!

Oooh can't wait to read about your homecoming adventures with Randy.
